In 2000, expats in the DIJON complex wanted sandwiches, so the DIJON morning sandwich concept was born. It moved to a real café in 2001-with coffee, sandwiches, cold drinks and salads. The original café did not ever have a stove!!
Today, the café is open from 9 am – 10 pm daily and serves lots of hot meals in addition to great sandwiches and salads. Our dessert selection has grown as has the variety of fresh fruit and vegetable drinks. Today’s choice menus change frequently and the really popular ones end up on the next new menu. Most popular at the moment are Mexican Salad, Quinoa Salad, Peri Peri Sandwich and Nasi Goreng Kambing, a very Middle Eastern sort of dish.
In new drinks, we have started a line of infusions, with both water and coconut water bases. The most popular is still the Coconut Water – Mixed Berry infusion. For new desserts there is a Yummy Tripple Baked Coconut Custard and and a Japanese Green Tea cake.
